COOKING CLASSES

All of our classes are taught by Chef Dave, and include hands-on instruction in our commercial kitchen.

Classes Offered

Knife Skills

Learn basic knife skills, and learn how to sharpen and take care of your knives.

Intro to Cooking

Learn to sear a protein, make an emulsified vinaigrette, and how to cook a risotto like a chef. From a beginner cook to a seasoned home chef, you will walk away cooking better than you ever have before.

Gluten-Free Cooking

Getting diagnosed with celiac, or changing your diet to use little to no gluten can be tricky! There are even a host of ingredients that don’t even seem to have gluten in them, that have it hidden. At this class we will teach you how to make everything from Fathead pizzas, to desserts, all with no gluten added.

Soups, Stocks, and Sauces

The definition of an amazing dish isn’t always on the technique upon which the protein is seared, or the vegetables prepared, but in the sauce that brings the whole dish together. Learn how to make amazing French onion, and mulligatawny soups, Hollandaise, and learn about the traditional French mother sauces.

Come Cook with Us!

Cooking classes are held at 2:00pm on Sundays at Ollie’s unless otherwise noted.

Classes last about three hours and also include a three-course meal with the items you have created (except for the knife skills class).

Knife Skills Classes begin at 1:00pm on Sundays at Ollie’s and last an hour (meal is not included with Knife Skills class).
